Why this series

When stress and burden build up, the body carries them. Over time, what starts as tension becomes dis-ease: a body and mind no longer at ease. It shows up as headaches, aches and a body that compensates, and it spills into our relationships, our work and our potential.

The three parts

  1. The physical body. Where stress sits, the tension and aches, and how the body compensates. Simple ways to release it.
  2. The mind. Overthinking and mental load. How to clear your head, focus and stay alert.
  3. The emotions. How held-in feelings turn into tension and conflict at home and at work, and how to let them go.

We finish with a daily reset that brings body, mind and emotions together.

What it can do for you

  • Fewer stress aches: less of the tension behind headaches, neck and shoulder aches, and body compensation
  • Body awareness: notice stress early, before it builds up
  • A clearer mind: less overthinking, sharper focus
  • More capacity and alertness for your family, your work and your growth
  • Calmer relationships at home and at work
  • Room to grow into your full potential, once stress stops holding you back

You leave with: better body awareness, a daily reset practice and more energy for what matters.

Questions

Do I need to be fit?

No. The physical exercises are gentle and suit every age and fitness level. Wear comfortable clothes.

Can I join just one part?

The three parts build on each other, so we recommend all three: body, mind and emotions work together.

This is a wellbeing workshop, not medical treatment. If you have pain or a health condition, please see your doctor.

The world that is always there

Different times bring different worlds: the world of achievement, the corporate ladder, and now that AI is everywhere, a new world is coming up. Yet there is one world that is always there and always true: the world we are always seeking and longing for.

Intention is the first thing to be aware of, because everything follows it. These workshops give you the space to slow down and come back to that world.

Questions about both programmes

Is this therapy or counselling?

No. These are learning workshops about awareness, habits and relationships. If you are going through a hard time, please talk to your doctor, or call Samaritans of Singapore on 1767 at any hour.

Is it religious?

No. We draw on practical psychology and ideas from many traditions. Everyone is welcome, whatever they believe.

Do I have to share personal things?

Only what you are comfortable with. Sharing is always optional.
